Roland G. Plasse 86, of Farm St. died Sunday in the Hebert Nursing Home. He was the husband of Maie A. (Labonte) Plasse. Mr. Plasse was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Napoleon and Lea (Girard) Plasse. He worked most of his life as a self employed carpenter. Mr. Plasse was a WWII Army Air Corps veteran.
He is survived by three sons Raymond Plasse, Edward Plasse, and Roland Plasse all of Blackstone, two sisters Bernadette Plasse and Rita Menard both of Blackstone, and four grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Aldor, Leonard, Theodore, and Cecile Plasse, Florence Guilmette, and Violet Hogue.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with committal prayers in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-6 PM.
