Mrs. Josie Irene Payne, age 70, of Pinnacle passed away on, Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on November 15, 1939 to the late Hiram and Daisy White Marion.Mrs. Payne worked as a Secretary for Medical Voice Transcription.Mrs. Payne is survived by two sons, Charles (Amanda) Payne of Pilot Mountain and Gregory Payne of Stuart, VA; two grandchildren, Jacob Payne and Robert (Marie) Payne, both of Stuart, VA; one great-grandchild, Eve Payne; two sisters and brother-in-law, Della (Edward) Coins of Pinnacle and Mary Vestal of Boonville, NC; one brother-in-law, Homer Childress of Fairview, NC; and several nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death are two sisters, Thelma Childress and Martha Key.Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Cox-Needham Chapel at 4:00 P.M with the Rev. Edward Coins and the Rev.
