Whitney Company in Boston. She later married and started her family eventually raising her six children. She embraced her role as a homemaker and mother and took great pride as a strong role model for her family. Following the raising of her family Norma went back to work outside her home for many years for the former Fanny Farmer Company then located in Fresh Pond in Cambridge. Here Norma flourished allowing her to use her pleasant and wonderful social nature to add sparkle to the customers she served.

She will be remembered for the love of her more than sixty year Cambridge community; her loving, vivacious, and social nature. One who appreciated her dear friends both old and new and valued the love those relationships provided her.
