Greene, Edna M. (Sorensen) of Dorchester, died on November 02, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was 84.
Beloved wife of the late Frank V. Greene. Devoted mother of Richard and Susan Greene of Weymouth and Carol Knight and Stuart Holland of FL. Mother-in-law and good friend of Bobby Medico of South Boston. Cherished Nanna of Susan, Seanna, Brendan, Tara and her husband Derek, Stacy, Robbie and his wife Julia and Briana. Great-grandmother of Kayleigh, Brenna, Jack and Deja. Edna comes from a family of 6 and is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. She was especially close with her niece Margaret Brown of Quincy.
She was born in Boston and lived in Dorchester for many years. Edna worked as a clerk for the Suffolk Superior Court for many years. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Saturday 10 AM - 12 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY.
A Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM in the funeral home.
Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston.
