Eddie W. “Bud” Gordon, 70, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Dorminy Medical Center.Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 14, 2003, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Greg Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M., Saturday evening at the funeral home.Mr. Gordon was born July 8, 1933, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Richard & Louise Hasty Gordon and was also preceded in death by his wife, Annette Taylor Gordon and two brothers. Mr. Gordon was a retired Master Sergeant, with twenty-three years of service with the United States Air Force, serving in England, Holland and Pakistan during the Korean War Era and the Vietnam War. He was an Air Force Recruiter from 1966 until 1970 in Macon, Georgia before his retirement in 1974 and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal. Mr. Gordon was a member of Crossview Baptist Church and the Pine Level Lodge #353 F&AM. Mr. Gordon is survived by: two daughters: Bonnie G. Collins and Anne G. Milner, both of Macon; one son: Eddie W. Gordon, Jr., Fitzgerald; one step-daughter: Gail Hough, Fitzgerald; one step-son: Jeff Richardson, Fitzgerald; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchild; one bother: M.W. “Bubba” Gordon, Fitzgerald; one sister: Mary G. Reynolds, Fitzgerald
