DANIELSON, CT- Rose Marie (Minassian) Dersain, 79, died Monday, November 1 at Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam. She leaves her loving husband of 53 years, Paul Dersain; three daughters, Anne Marie D. Smith of Worcester, Margaret Hagopian and her husband John of West Brookfield and Julie R. Pasquale and her husband Gary of Danielson, CT; her mother, Heghine Minassian; two sisters, Jeannine Juskalian of Philadelphia, PA and Alice Kanaley of Worcester. She also leaves five grandchildren, her loving Cocker spaniel, Charlie and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father Garabed Minassian.
She was born in Marseille, France and worked as a seamstress for many years. She was a member of Armenian Church of Our Savior. Rose loved making her family happy. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and baking choregs. She also loved to travel, especially her trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Europe and cruises.
The funeral will be held on Friday, November 5 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester, MA with a Service at 11:00 AM in Armenian Church of Our Savior, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA 01609. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are Thursday, November 4 from 6-8 PM in the funeral home. A Dahngark Service will be held during visiting hours.
