Worcester-Robert N. Lareau, 58, of 2 Dixon Ave. died Wednesday in Bedford.
Mr. Lareau was born in Worcester, son of Armand and Corine (Bolduc) Lareau and later graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School.He is survived by a brother Armand Lareau Jr. of Yontsville California, and two sisters Jean C. Richard of Worcester and Denise Ducharme of Marlborough; two nieces and three nephews. Another sister Lorraine Dutting of Brea, California, died in 2002.
Mr. Lareau served in the Navy at Quanset Point Naval Air Station and later served with the Air National Guard.
He worked as an Inspector for the past fifteen years with The Federal Aviation Agency at Hanscom Field, working with Raytheon Projects there.
He had also lived several years in California and in Connecticut.
Mr. Lareau held a private pilot’s license and was previously an instructor at Worcester Airport.
His funeral will be held Tuesday Dec. 16, at 12 noon in Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. Following cremation, burial of the ashes will be at The Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 11am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
