Donna Loray Shotwell, 55, of 1394 Cascade Road, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center . Born in Danville
On June 10, 1955, she was the daughter of Joseph Chandler “J.C.” Shotwell, who predeceased her, and Dorothy Ludwick Shotwell, of Danville.
She lived most of her life in the Danville area and attended George Washington High School. She was a homemaker and She was of the Baptist faith. She had been in declining health for a number of years.
In addition to her mother, Donna, is survived by three sisters, Melissa S. Jennings, Kelly Shotwell and Robin S. Crutchfield, all of Danville;
Also, her loving companion, Jerry W. McDaniel, of Cascade Road, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a daughter, Christie Leigh Guill, who died February 22, 1993.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Swicegood Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Yancey
And the Rev. Daniel Custer officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.at Swicegood Funeral Home on Saturday, October 30, 2010. At other times they will be at the residence, 1394 Cascade Road, and at the residence
