Edward S. Desmond age 80 formerly of Canton & Brighton of Holiday, Florida passed away October 28th at the Lafayette Hospice in Newport Richie, Florida. Born and raised in Brighton, he was a member of the Boston English High School Class of 1949 and a Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a System’s Analyst for Bradley’s in Braintree and previously for the Foxboro Co. Beloved husband of Lucy A. (Barra). Son of the late Stephen & Catherine Desmond. Brother of the late Joseph W. & Frederick T. Desmond. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Tuesday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday morning prior to the mass from 9 to 10 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
