Obituary

Worcester- Fay (Raffel) Bosch, 91, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2010 in UMass Memorial Hospital. She leaves a daughter, Arlene Bosch of Worcester with whom she lived; a son, Jack and his wife Joanne Bosch of Westboro; three grandsons, Andrew, David and his wife Amanda all of Worcester, Michael and his wife Michell of Orlando, FL and many nieces and nephews. Fay was predeceased by her husband Alex Bosch, a son, John A. Bosch, a brother Ben Raffel, and a sister Mia Kaletski.

Fay was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Bekir and Rose (Shutsky) Raffel. She graduated from Brooklyn Business School. Her work involved the family business, Washington Street Market, and manager of the executive kitchen at Parker Manufacturing before retirement 30 yrs ago. She enjoyed cooking, line dancing, playing cards and bingo and was very involved in Senior Groups in Millbury, Auburn, Worcester and Shrewsbury. Most of all, Fay was at her best at gatherings with her family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 starting at 10:00 AM at Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's fund (PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38148) or Jimmy Fund (Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline PL, Brookline, MA 02445, attn Contrib. Svc).
