Antonio C. Carvalho, age 46 passed away October 30, 2010. Born in Santo Antonio alem Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Mariano and Marianna (Carlos) Carvalho and fiancé of Lisa Rowley. He was a retired engineering operator in the construction industry and a member of St. Michael Church. Tony was an avid fisherman who loved his family, telling jokes and his pet Yorky Sam.
Besides his fiancé’ of Fall River, he is survived by 2 children: Justin and Katie Carvalho of Westport; 7 siblings: Mariano Carvalho of Fall River, Olivia Rocha of Sao Miguel, Laura Furtado of Fall River, Hilda Pavao of Swansea, Maria Da Ponte of Fall River, Natalie Freitas of Berkley and Sandy Silva of Fall River and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Wednesday at 8 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church, Essex St. at 9 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-9 P.M.
