TAUNTON – Eduina S. (Faria) Rodrigues, wife of the late Jose Rodrigues, died at her Taunton home on Oct. 28, 2010.
She was 83.
Born in Fayal, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Eduina (Souto) Faria.
Raised and educated in the Azores, she moved to the Taunton area in 1974.
Mrs. Rodrigues was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, and enjoyed praying, cooking and feeding her family.
Survivors include six daughters, Fatima Luis and her husband Gilbert of Fayal, Zulmira Alves and Kenny Oldfield of Taunton, Judy Smith and Steve Melo of Raynham, Connie Cabral and her husband Guilherme of Taunton, Alda DaCosta and her husband Rui of Raynham and Carmen Bairos and her husband Luis of Taunton; a brother, Manuel Faria of Taunton; three sisters, Florinda Faria, Filomina Cunha and Zulmira Matos, all of Taunton; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Jose Faria and Maria Gomes.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 9 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
