Pauline Labonte Brown, 74, of 17 Orchard Hill Rd. Belmont died December 11, 2003 at the Lakes Region General Hospital. She was born in Gilford on August 1, 1929, the daughter of Arthur J. and Diane (Michel) Labonte.
Raised in Gilford she attended Gilford Elementary School and Laconia High School.She was the widow of George Brown, who died in 1968.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a desk clerk at the Shalimar Resort. Pauline always enjoyed the time spent with her family. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart parish.
Members of the family include, two sisters, Helen Perron of Laconia and May Hamberger and her husband Carl Hamberger of Laconia; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Philip “Pat” Labonte and his wife Heather, Leo “Pete” Labonte and his wife Dorothy and Robert “Bob” Laobnte and his wife Sherry, all of Gilford; nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass was celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue on Tuesday, December 16th at 11 AM. Rev. Adrien Longchamps, pastor was the celebrant. Private urn burial will be in the spring in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford NH 03110. Timothy C. Molan of the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia assisted the family with arrangements.
