Mrs. Jean Hunter Sisk, age 78, widow of Herbert M. Sisk, of Pinnacle, passed away on, October 27, 2010 at Northern Hospital of Surry County Mt. Airy, NC.Mrs. Sisk was born in Stokes County on December 15, 1931 to the late Robert A. Hunter and Ella Lynch Hunter.Mrs. Sisk was a homemaker, and a member of Brim’s Grove Baptist Church.Mrs. Sisk is survived by one daughter and son-in law, Debra and Dale Stewart, of Pilot Mountain, one son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Sue Sisk, of Pinnacle, four grandchildren, Jeffrey Stewart, Dawn Sisk, Laurie and Jason Needham, and Adrianna Sisk. One step-grandchild, Annabelle Needham, one sister, Wilma Mabe, of Pilot Mountain, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sisk was preceded in death by six sisters, Viola Cox, Lillie Durham, Nell Slate, Irene Smith, Hattie Hunter, Josephine Sechrist, and one brother, Robert Clevo Hunter.Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday October 30, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Brim’s Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Gerald Jones, Rev. Odell Sisk, Bro. Paul Sisk, and Rev. Emmett Crotts. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 to 4:00 P. M. before the funeral services and at other times at Mrs. Sisk’s home Oscar Frye Road, pinnacle, NC. Memorials may be made to the Brim’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, C/O Homer Hicks, 1502 Brim’s Grove Road, Pinnacle, N.C. 27043 and Cox-Needham Funeral Home and Chapel in Pilot Mountain, N.
