Rita M. Routhier, 85 of Dover, NH, died Thursday, December 11, 2003 in the Riverside Rest Home in Dover. Mrs. Routhier was born in East Boston, MA on September 29, 1918, a daughter of the late Amedee and Stella (Taylor) LaCroix. She was a resident of Dover for the past two years, formerly living in Derry, NH. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxillary in Derry and was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry. She was a member of the Hoodkroft Country Club in Derry, and enjoyed golfing and dancing.
She is survived by her brother, Harold LaCroix of Medford, MA, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George "Lefty" Routhier who died in 1983.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 15th at 10:00am in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Ave., Derry. Friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 2 - 4pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. The burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Londonderry in the Spring.
