Mr. Anthony J. Ciampa, age 90, Of Medford, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Raffaele and Filomena (DeAngelis) Ciampa. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (O´Brien). Mr. Ciampa was a Medford resident for thirty years, he worked many years for the Rail Road at South Station in Boston and also worked for many years as an assembler of motors for the International Equiptment Co. of Needham Heights, he retired in 1978.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr Ciampa is preceded in death by his son Francis Quinn, his sister Marie Tardo, and brothers Feleciano and Joseph Ciampa. He is survived by his granddaughter Kristen Locke of Southboro, grandsons, Michael Quinn of Newton and Joseph Quinn of Townsend. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Haley Quinn and Dillon Locke. He is further survived by his sister Theresa Roberts of Michigan and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Saturday at 8 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8. Services will cocnlude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
