In Brockton, of Lakeville Arthur L husband of Marie L. Powers-Dube died at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 82. Born in Bridgewater, Arthur was the son of the late Joseph and Rosanna (Thibault) Dube. Arthur was in the U.S. Army in the Signal Corp.as a ranked Corporal Photographer. He received the WWII Victory Medal and the Army Occupation Medal. Arthur was a graduate from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Psychology. He was a retired Assistant Superintendent of Corrections at Bridgewater Corrections for 32years and an Oil Burner Technician/Owner of Art's Oil Burner Repair for 53 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Police Officers Association and The Retired State,County and Municipal Employees Assoc. Arthur was the brother of Doris Balonis of Benicia, CA and the late Dorothy White. Cousin of Helen Luddy of Dedham, John Luddy of Virginia and the late William Luddy. Uncle of one nephew and several nieces. A graveside service will be held at Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road in Fall River on Tuesday, November 2nd at 1 PM.
