Ingeborg C. “Inge” Czojor, 86, of Londonderry, NH died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. She slipped quietly and gracefully into Heaven’s embrace with family by her side. She was born on November 12, 1923 in Konigsberg, Germany, a daughter of the late Helena Glandine, and was raised by her mother and stepfather. She and her husband, along with their young son immigrated to the United States in 1952 and later received her American Citizenship. She then lived in Ardencroft, DE for over 50 years, more recently residing in Londonderry. Family and friends have fond memories of gathering often at Inge’s home to enjoy her cooking and baking. She spent many years as a seamstress and also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Ilona Arndt and her husband, Bruce, of Londonderry, NH, her son, Helmut Czojor and his wife, Linda, of Fountain, CO, five grandchildren, Heather Arndt, Ben Arndt, Philip Arndt, Megan Czojor, and Eric Czojor, seven nieces and nephews, Janett Quinn, Michael Szymonowicz, Ursula Cox, Chris Koepp, Jeanette Jennings, Linda Bierman, and Peter Czojor. She was predeceased by her husband Hellmuth Czojor in 2002.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, of Derry and Londonderry, are assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Inge’s memory to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
