Irene M. Bauchman, 81, of Windham, NH, died Monday October 25, 2010, in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. She was born in Lawrence, MA on September 7, 1929, a daughter of Stanley J. and Blanche Serwin. She had been a resident of Windham for the past 62 years, formerly living in North Andover, MA. Mrs. Bauchman had been employed as a tester for Western Electric, where she had been a member of the Pioneers. She enjoyed volunteering, ran the Derry Share Program, and was involved with the Registry of Voting in Windham for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Daniel L. Bauchman and his wife Bunny of Londonderry, and Richard Bauchman of Concord, NH; two grandchildren, Jesse Bauchman, and Tawnya Thompson; as well as four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd D. Bauchman, Jr. in 2005.
Calling hours were held on Friday, October 29th from 4 - 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Saturday at 10:00am in funeral home with cremation following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Burn Hospital, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
