Janet A. Cheeseman of Salem, NH and formerly of Reading, MA died Tuesday at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. She was 65 years old.
She was born in Engelwood, NJ, later moving to Marshfield, MA where she was educated and graduated from Marshfield High School. She received her Associates Degree in Human Services from Castle Junior College in Windham, NH.
Mrs. Cheeseman was a Social Worker for the State of NH Department of Health & Human Services in the Salem Office until her retirement in 1997 after 20 years of service. She was also on the Human Services Fair Hearing Committee.She was a member of the Pleasant Street United Methodist Church in Salem, NH. She was a former member of the Salem Women’s Club.

Brother: Arthur Austin of MA
Sister: Nancy Mullen of Marshfield, MA
11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews
