Methuen, MA- Jennie Anne (Salem) Daher, 91 died Friday, October 22nd at the Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill, surrounded by her family.
Born in Lawrence on May 20th, 1919, Jennie was the daughter of Hassan and Anne Salem. She was educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
For 20 years, Jennie was a Tax Examiner for the IRS.
She was an active member of St. Anthony’s Church in Lawrence and a member of their Sodality. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and was cherished by her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The widow of the late Richard E. Daher, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage, Jennie is survived by her daughter Carol Loughlin of Bradford, her three beloved grandsons, David Loughlin of San Diego, CA, Kevin Loughlin of Newbury, MA and Daniel Loughlin of Methuen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by her brother James Salem.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday October 25th from 4-7 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. A Mass of Christian burial will take place Tuesday morning at 10AM at St. Anthony’s Church in Lawrence with burial to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Methuen.
