Miss Rita G. LeBrun, of Taunton, died Friday, October 22, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born 84 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alfred and Alphea M. (Marcoux) LeBrun. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a supervisor for Raytheon Corp. in Quincy and Brockton for 34 years. Miss LeBrun was a member of the “25 Club” at Raytheon. She enjoyed fishing, visiting Cape Cod, woodcutting, crocheting and taking care of her home. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton.
She leaves: 2 brothers: Normand LeBrun and his wife Kathleen, of Taunton, and Roland LeBrun and his wife Marie, of Taunton; 1 sister: Lillian Anctil of Falmouth, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Lucienne Ouillette, Sr. Anne Marie, S.U.S.C. (Annette LeBrun), Raymond LeBrun and Evelyn Almeida. She was the dear friend of the late Doris Bagdon.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Monday, October 25 at 8:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
