Smith, Matthew T. age 85 of Ridgefield Park formerly of New York City died Thursday, October 21, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Teresa (nee) Farmer. Devoted uncle of Mary Anne Roughneen, Theresa Farmer, Kathleen LaRusso, and Thomas Dyba. Loving brother of the late Alice Roughneen and Catherine Dyba. Matthew was a teleprompter operator at QTV in New York City. He was a US Navy Veteran having served during WWII and was a parishioner of St. Francis RC Church in Ridgefield Park. Funeral service Monday, 8:30AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck then to St. Francis RC Church for a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM.
