James L. Ladieu, 61, of Medway died October 22 at his home while surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Carol A. (Kelley) Ladieu.
Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, October 29, 1948, the son of the late Leo and Shirley (Blake) Ladieu, he was a graduate of Bishop Bradley High School in 1966 and Providence College in 1970.
Mr. Ladieu had worked for Harvard University in the benefits department.
He had previously worked for Verizon Phone Company for many years.
Mr. Ladieu was an usher at St. Joseph’s Church and had coached youth soccer, basketball and baseball for many years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Jay Ladieu and his wife Kristy of Pembroke, Jessica Ladieu of Millbury and Jaime Ladieu Ryan and her husband James of Franklin.
He is also survived by his brother John Ladieu of Newport News, Virginia and his grandchildren, Jax and Lily.
His funeral will be held on Monday, October 25 from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Medway.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 p.m.
