Manuel Cipriano, age 86 of Fall River passed away October 21, 2010. He was husband of Serafina (Melo) Cipriano and son of the late Antone and Encarnacao Cipriano. Manuel was a retired custodian at Joan Fabric and lastly at Foxboro Co. He was a member of Santo Christo Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 6 children: Miguel Cipriano and Salome Borges both of Fall River, Charles Cipriano Sr., Luis Cipriano and Lidia Ferreira all of Dartmouth, Joseph Cipriano of Fall River: 1 sister: Alexandrina Cipriano of New Bedford; 12 Grandchildren: Michael Borges, Rui Cipriano, Bill Borges, Cassandra Lima, Charles Cipriano, Jr., Joseph Borges, Jr., Ricardo Cipriano, Erica Ferreira, and Kristine Cipriano, Nicholas Cipriano, Andrew Ferreira and Mason Cipriano; 1 great grandchild: Tatyana Cipriano and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Saturday at 8:45A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. at 9:45A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-9 PM.
