Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Friday at 11 am. Visitation 10-11 am . Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Donations in Marie’s memory may be made to VistaCare Hospice 354 Turnpike St. Suite 101, Canton, MA 02021.
Obituary
Mrs. Hill died Tuesday morning at the Goddard Transitional Care Center in Stoughton after a period of failing health. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Burton and Elizabeth (Poitras) Ackerman. She remained a lifelong resident of Brockton.
Mrs. Hill was a talented musician she played piano and organ and enjoyed composing music. She had even cut her own record. Later in life Mrs. Hill started drawing and enjoyed sketching.
She is survived by her children, Robert A. Roberge and his wife Helen “Bonnie” of Brockton; Richard E. Roberge and his wife Sheryl of Washington; Jean M. (Roberge) Pesa and her husband John, Sr. of Bourne; Marie (Hill) Callahan and her husband Robert of Bourne and Marylou (Hill) Khoury and her husband David of Brockton, 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandson, many nieces and nephews.
