Rosemary H. Logan (Joyce), of Whitman, died Wednesday, October 20, in the Kindred Hospital, Stoughton, MA. Rosemary was the wife of Francis H. Logan, also of Whitman. She was born in Boston and raised in both Dorchester and Quincy.
In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by her loving children, Michael F. Burke of Braintree, Stephen R. Burke and his wife Nancy of Braintree. David R. Burke and his wife Joan of North Easton, Paul E. Burke and his wife Tara of Scituate, Michelle Logan DeLuca and her husband Stephen of Dorchester and Barbara Logan McCann and her husband Brian of Cohasset.
Rosemary’s twelve treasured grandchildren, Colin, Jenna, Taryn, Alison, Stephen D., Patrick,
Mary Claire, Stephen B., Maeve, Jack, Luke and Conor will miss her deeply.
Rosemary leaves her beloved sister and best friend, Barbara Hobin of Kingston.
Affectionately known as “Aunt Mamie” by the Hobins, she loved all her nieces and nephews dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Burke.
Her visitation will be held in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, on Sunday October 24th from 2:00-6:00PM. Her funeral services will be held on Monday October 25th at 8:15AM from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 9:00 am in the Holy Ghost Church, Washington St., Whitman, MA.
