Evelyn J. Medeiros, 84, of Green Hollow Road in Danielson,Connecticut died Tuesday,October 18, 2010 at home. She was the wife of the late Gilbert Medeiros.Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Madelyn (Skirrow) Gentile.
Mrs. Medeiros was a computer operator for the former NE Telephone & Telegraph Company in Providence for 43 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Telephone Workers Pioneers and she enjoyed playing cards, painting ceramics and baking.
She is survived by a daughter, Rita Choiniere and her husband Robert of Danielson, CT, her sisters Dorothy Paquette of Scituate, RI and Lois Hall and her husband, Donald of Brooklyn, CT and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews in the MA, RI and CT areas. She is predeceased by a brother Walter Gentile.
