Obituary

BONITA SPRINGS, FL: Jerome G. “Jerry” Driscoll, 72, died July 24, 2010 in Bonita Springs, Florida of heart failure after an extended illness.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Cornelius P. Driscoll, retired Superintendent of the Haverhill Water Works, and the late Pearl A. (Fedoruk) Driscoll. He grew up in Haverhill and Bradford. He had attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and Central Catholic High School in Lawrence from which he graduated in 1955. He had also attended Boston University.
He had served in the Air Force Reserves at Grenier Field, Manchester, NH from 1960-1966. Jerome was employed by Xerox Corporation as a technical representative serving the Boston area from 1962 until his retirement in 1994.
A resident of the Boston area from 1955 until his retirement, he divided his time between his home in West Roxbury and Bonita Springs, Florida.
He is survived by his sister, Alexis Driscoll of Palatine, Illinois. He was also predeceased by his sister, Johanna Driscoll Johnson Toney, and a brother, Cornelius E. Driscoll.
His funeral services will be held on Saturday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 52 Salem Street, Bradford at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Legion Charities, 700 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46206 www.legion.org/donate. Interment will be held in the Lithuanian Cemetery.
