Stephen F. Clark, "Clarkie", 57, of Webster and formerly of Dudley, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester, surrounded by those he loved the most.
He leaves a daughter, Nicole M. Downie and her husband Jamie of Worcester, two brothers, William Clark of RI and Charles Clark and his wife Susan of FL; one niece and one nephew; and his girlfriend and "soul mate" of 9 years Kim D. Hohler of Webster.
Steve was born in Providence,RI, son of Charles and Frances (Hatton) Clark. He was a graduate of Cumberland (RI) High School.
After graduating high school, Steve moved to Florida where he worked as the assistant golf professional at an exclusive Miami country club, before moving to Central, MA. He was then employed at Woods Auto Body in North Brookfield, followed by Millbury Motors in Auburn, where he was eventually promoted to Auto Body Manager. He received his license as an Independent Insurance Adjuster, and ended his career at Commerce Insurance where he was a Manager in the Material Damage Department; he was employed there for 22 years
Steve enjoyed all Boston sports teams. He was a very talented, avid golfer and loved NASCAR racing. He was a sponsor of Jeff Hartwell and his car at Thompson International Speedway, and was a fomer owner of 21 West in Dudley. Steve enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was loved by many and a friend to all.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 10AM at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to;The American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA. 01701.
There will be a Celebration of His Life on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 11AM to 3PM at the Thompson International Speedway Clubhouse in Thompson, CT. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
The Robert J. Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel, 366 School St, Webster is assisting the family.
