Joseph Thomas Souza, Jr., age 82 of Somerset passed away October 18, 2010. He was husband of Pauline (Nunes) Souza and son of the late Joseph and Anna (Garcia) Souza. Joe was a foreman for 49 years at Mono Die Cutting Co. in East Providence, RI, a member of St. John of God Church, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Fall River Elks.
Besides his wife of 56 years, he is survived by 2 children: Rose Mary Boudreau and husband William of Somerset and Jeffrey Souza and wife Gail of Swansea; 3 grandchildren: Nicholas Boudreau, Jameson and Gabrielle Souza; 1 niece and 1 nephew. He was brother of the late Eleanor Vieira.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Friday at 9A.M. followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in St. John of God Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Somerset. Calling hours Thursday 6-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
