Elisabeth Zeck Bell, 81, Clarksville, died Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Parchman Chapel with Brother Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m.until the hour of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 20, 1929 in Augsburg Germany daughter of the late Johann and Anna Zeck. Survivors include her husband, CSM Haskell Bell (Ret); two sons, Karl R. Bell, Clarksville and John C. Bell (Ellen), Springfield, TN; a daughter Peggy C. McDonald (Timothy), Cross Plains, TN; two sisters, Anna Hauslein and Centa Scharf, both of Augsburg Germany; two grandchildren, Jessica Milburn, Portland, TN; and Jason McDonald, Nashville, TN; two great-grandchildren, Koen Redmond, Louisville, KY and Andrea Brooks, Portland, TN; and several nieces and nephews both in Germany and the U.S. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Bales.
