Christine “Chris” MacKenzie (Davis) Hayden, of Plymouth, departed this world peacefully October 15th after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, Paul L. Davis and Mildred G. Davis. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving devoted husband William Hayden, four children Jean Scott of NC, Sue Lantz of Scituate, Kristopher Hayden of Plymouth and Monica Hayden-Joyce of Lennox and her eleven grandchildren Jonathan, Andrea, Tiffany, Stephanie, Samantha, Josiah, Brendan, Samuel, EJ, Mabel and Saaphyri.
She was an avid NASCAR fan, but above all else her family and friends came first. She turned no one away and was a friend to all. A fair and devoted friend, she tried to help all that she could.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 21st at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Plymouth at 10 AM. Friends and family are invited to gather at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) at 9 AM for an hour of visitation. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the Jordan Hospital Cancer Center, 275 Sandwich St, Plymouth, MA 02360.
