Ray, William E. “Bill”, 82, of Louisville went to be with Jesus on Friday, October 15, 2010 at his residence.
He was a retired maintenance mechanic from General Electric Company, building 2.
Bill was an Army veteran during the Korean War era and a Christian by faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Norma “Jean” Ray; and brother, Robert L. Ray.
Bill is survived by his two children, Darrell E. Ray (Betty) and Deborah L Haag (Nick); sister, Vivian Ray; niece, Vickie Ray; grandchildren, Leslie Cooper (Jeff), Chad Greathouse (Angie), Ricky Greathouse (Beth), Stephanie Faulkner (Mike), Brenda Norton (Brett), and Paula Henson (Chris); great-grandchildren, Nicky Cooper, Blake Faulkner, Chance Greathouse, Cameron Faulkner, Cole Greathouse, Ethan Greathouse, Kate Greathouse, and 1 Norton on the way.
Funeral service will be 10am on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with interment to follow in Rockhaven Cemetery at Otter Creek Park.
Visitation will be from 2-9pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
