John W. Lemieux, 88, of Salem, NH died Sat. Oct. 16th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.
John was born in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Gertrude (Cashman) and Henry Lemieux. He was a long time resident of Salem and graduated from Woodbury High School in 1940. John retired from the William A. Berry Company where he was a construction supervisor. He had a long association with the George B. Macomber Co. John was a life member of the Boston Carpenters Union.
John was a charter member and previous financial secretary of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Peterson Council #4442 and a member of the 4th Degree. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, swimming in his pool and family get togethers. John was devoted to his family and was always there in good times and in times of need. He was his grandchildren’s beloved Papa.

5 Grandchildren: John Lemieux III, Roberta Lemieux, Stephen Lemieux Jr., Adam Lemieux and Kimberly Lemieux
6 Great Grandchildren: LaShante, Gary, John IV, Anna, Alissa, Ashley
Funeral services will be held Wed. Oct. 20th at 12 Noon at Sts. Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tues. Oct. 19th from 4-7PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
