DEROO, Marion I. (Daly), of Winthrop, suddenly, October 16, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Abbott L. Deroo. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Swenson and her husband Ken of Hopkinton, Frederick Deroo and his companion Jan McLaughlin of Marblehead, Suzanne Dalton and her late husband Ed of Winthrop, Linda Costantino and her husband Frank of Winthrop, and Janis Connor and her husband Kirby of Winthrop. Dear sister of Franklin Daly of RI. and the late Dorothy Reed, Eleanor Reed, Elizabeth Lohnes, Earl Daly, Richard Daly and Robert “Buddy” Daly. Also survived by 23 grandchildren and the late Richard Deroo, 36 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP on Tues, at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Mon from 4-8pm.
