Sylvia K. Green, 65, Clarksville, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1 PM Saturday October 16, 2010 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Forest Suddeath officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Sylvia was born on May 9, 1945 in Montgomery County to the late Grady R. Green and Nova Mae Simmons. She was a retired AT&T employee and a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was also an avid Tennessee Titans fan. She is survived by one brother; Jackson (Katie) Green of Jamestown, NY and one niece; Rachel Green of Clarksville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Clarksville 223 North 2nd Street Clarksville, TN 37040.
