Henry Leron Bryant, Jr., 70, of Tifton died Friday, October 15, 2010, at Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Ricky Bryant, Harrell Willis, Ray Walker, Zack Gillespie, Tommy McDaniel and Clark Walker will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2010, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals, prior to the graveside service. The family will be at the home of his son and daughter-in-law at 4801 Frazier Circle, Tifton, GA.
Mr. Bryant was born on October 12, 1940 in Berrien County and was the son of Rev. Henry Lee Bryant, Sr. of Tifton and the late, Gladys Rutherford Bryant. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Bryant and Charles Bryant. He was a self-employed painter and of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his father, Mr. Bryant is survived by Sue Ann Lovett Bryant of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Vickie Bryant of Tifton; one daughter, Carla Waldrop of Tifton; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and James Taylor of Tifton; three grandchildren, Zack Gillespie, Ross Waldrop and Karley Bryant; and four great-grandchildren.
