James F. Healy age 62 of Quincy died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at his sister’s home in Centerville under the care of hospice. James had been a resident of Quincy for the past 23 years.
Born and raised in Brockton a son of the late James and Joan Healy, James was a 1966 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High School. He received his BA and MA from UMass Amherst and worked for the Commonwealth of Mass Information Technology Division Office of Administration and Finance for 25 years before illness forced his retirement. He was an avid reader of history and political science.
James is survived by his brother Thomas J. Healy and his wife Judith of Falmouth, his sisters Patricia White of Centerville and Kathleen Maxon of Belchertown and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 9:30am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
