Obituary

Mrs. Mary Helen (Carney) Lavin, 88, of Andover, Massachusetts formerly of Lawrence, MA., passed away on Tuesday, October 12th, 2010 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

She was born on November 8th, 1921 in Lawrence to the late Leo T. and Emma T. (Devlin) Carney. Mary was educated in the Lawrence Grammar Schools and was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School in Lawrence, MA. Mary was an attendant of Saint Augustines Church in Andover and she worked for Honeywell as an assembler for 25 years.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her loving Grandchildren and Family. She loved to read and do crossword puzzles, and she especially loved time at the Beach with her family.

Marie H. Cusack and her husband Timothy Cusack of Methuen, MA.

Her brother: James Carney and his wife Leonare Carney of Florida.

Grandchildren: Timothy, Andrew, Colleen, Katie, William, Jordan, Derek, Trevor, Shawn, Jillian, Aidan, Liam, and Emma. Great Grandchild: Kayleigh Durant. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Sister of the late: Joseph Leo Carney

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 15th, 2010 at 10:45 a.m. in Saint Augustine Church in Andover, MA.

Burial will be private and take place at a later date.
