Obituary

Linda M. Lee, of Wilmington passed away peacefully at the Melrose Wakefield hospital on October 12th, following a lengthy illness. She was 61 years of age. Born Lowell she was one of eight children of the late Harold F. and Mary F. (O'Brien) Lee.

Linda was a life-long resident of Wilmington where she was raised and attended Wilmington Public Schools. She was an active parishioner of St. Dorothy Church for most of her life until her more recent health made it difficult for her to attend church regularly. Linda was mostly devoted to her family and enjoyed spending times them. She had a wonderful and strong personality and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her son, the late Timothy Lee, and her sister, the late Virginia Lee. She is survived by her beloved son, Mark Lee of Lowell, brother, Harold Lee and his wife Christine of Lynn, sisters, Geri Pondelli of Wilmington, Ann McGibbon and her husband Russell of Wilmington, Janice Pope and her husband Stephen of Billerica, Mary Costello and Patricia O'Brien both of Wilmington. She was the cherished niece of Martin O'Brien of Charlestown, Ann Stygle and Catherine Graham both of Wilmington. She is further survived by her special cousins, the O'Brien family of Charlestown, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington, Saturday, October 16th, at 12 p.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Dorothy Church, Main St., Wilmington at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Dello Russo Funeral Home will be held on Friday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
