Souza, Henrique “Henry”, Jr., of Marshfield, Oct. 11, at home with his loving family present, at the age of 78. Son of the late Henrique and Mary (Oliveira) Souza. Beloved husband of 46 years to M. Gloria (Camara) Souza. Loving father of Lori A. Mulligan and her husband Michael of Marshfield and H. Richard Souza and his wife Shellie of Middleboro. Dear grandfather of Mary Ann Clark, Michael J. Mulligan, Jr., Stephen H. Mulligan, Sarah E. Mulligan, Kathleen L. Mulligan, Christina and Joanna Souza, Sarah and Rachel McCormack. Great grandfather of Joseph and Hannah Clark. Brother of Rita L. Cabral of Swansea. Henry was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was an accounting graduate of LaSalle University. Henry was a retired IRS agent with the Boston Division after 26 years service. In his retirement he had an accounting and tax practice in Marshfield. He was an avid Boston sports fan, his favorite team was the Patriots. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and a former member of The Durfee High School , Fall River, l947 State Championship Football Team. One of his favorite pleasures was following his grandsons Michael and Stephen Mulligan’s sports careers. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Marshfield on Saturday, Oct. l6 at l0 a.m.
Visiting hour at the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., rte. l39, Marshfield from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday preceding the Funeral Mass. Interment in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Tiverton, RI.
