June Adele (Ducloe) McCarron, a lifelong resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late John McCarron, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, following a lengthy illness. She was 87 years old.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 29, 1923, she was the beloved daughter of the late George and Alice (Doyle) Ducloe.
Mrs. McCarron was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1941 and was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph Church in Medford. She served as Eucharistic Minister for many years and had been a member of the St. Joseph Sodality. She had also been a member of the Mystic AARP for many years.
She was the beloved step-mother of Alice and her husband Charles Murphy of Sarasota, Florida, Joseph and his wife Donna McCarron of Weare, New Hampshire, Thomas McCarron of Belmont, New Hampshire and John, Jr. and his wife Patricia McCarron. She was also the step-grandmother of Danielle, Aedan, Kristen, Keith, Kimberly, Kevin, Allison and Kenneth and step great-grandmother of Chantal. June was also the step-mother of the late Kevin McCarron.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Friday, October 15, 2010 at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. Donations in June’s memory may be made to the above named church.
