WORCESTER____Stanley J. Gribb, 84, of Blaire House, 116 Houghton St., died Friday December 5 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves four sisters, Mary Ducimo of Worcester; Rose Urbanovitch of Paxton; Helen Grabowski of Auburn and Theresa Johnson of Shrewsbury and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by two brothers, Walter Grzyb of Phoenix, AZ., and Joseph Grzyb of San Diego, CA. He was born in Worcester, son of Alexander and Rosalia (Bialowas) Grzyb and lived here for most of his life.
Mr. Gribb was a retail salesman for many years before he retired. Before then he worked in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was educated at St. Mary's School. He was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Mr. Gribb enjoyed reading.
The Private Funeral was held on Tuesday Dec. 9 in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. Interment followed in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Memorial Fund, 34 Ward St., Worcester, 01610.
