Farmington, NH----Rodney James Collins, 52, passed on October 3, 2010 at Portsmouth General Hospital after a long-term illness. Ronnie was born on August 25, 1958 in Waterbury, Conn. He had lived in Farmington, N.H. since 2007.
He lived and worked in Worcester, Mass. for most of his life. He retired from Local Union 243 in 2005. He worked on several projects while working for Local 243 such as Med City and Union Station which he was very proud of. He enjoyed taking day trips to the beach and being with his family. He was an avid fisherman and Red Sox fan.
He was predeceased by his mother, Annie E. (Hilyard) Collins, and father, Edward R.Collins.
He is survived by three daughters, Candy (Morin) White and her husband, Will, Jennifer (Morin) Bristol and her husband, Carl, and her two children, all of Florida and his daughter, Jessica Collins, and her three children and his son, Richard Collins, all of Worcester, Mass.
He is survived by his fiancée, Susan Oja, and her children; Kyle, Matthew and Jessica St. Peter.
He is survived by his brother, Russell Anderson, and his wife, Cathy, of Oxford, Mass., sister, Trish Anderson, of Virginia, brother, Charlie Collins, and his wife, Pat, of Meredith, N.H., sister, Bonnie (Collins) Hills, of Humbolt, Tenn., sister, Kathy (Collins) Wilson, and her husband, Gary, of Gilford, N.H. His is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
