James Michael Shay, 55 a resident of Methuen, MA., died on Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born and raised in Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School.
Son of the late William & Lillian (Howshan) Shay, he was predeceased by his brother William.
For 20 years he was Assistant Vice President at The Savings Bank in Wakefield, and was in charge of Facilities and Purchasing. He was a member of the Group Purchasing Association. He enjoyed golfing, furniture restoring, he was an avid student & history buff of Lawrence. He was a devoted and loving father.
He leaves his loving daughter Casey Shay of Methuen and her mother Lynne Shay, Sisters Maryann & Lisa Shay his uncle James Howshan of Concord, MA, his aunt Evelyn (Howshan) DelMonico of Lawrence & many caring cousins friends & colleagues.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. A burial will follow at the United Lebanese Cemetery in Lawrence.
