Auburn-Brigham K. Bergquist, 78, passed away Friday, October 8 after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Eleanor M. (Allgaier) Bergquist; his brother-in-law and sister-in law, Howard and Maryann Angione of Queens, NY and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bergquist was born in Worcester the son of Henry and Dorothy (Brigham) Bergquist. He graduated from Commerce High School and attended University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Clark University. He was a Korean War Army Veteran. Mr. Bergquist worked as a photographer and was Co-owner of Casson-Foster Studio in Auburn for many years retiring in 2003. He enjoyed gardening, photography and handyman work.
Mr. Bergquist’s funeral will be on Tuesday, October 12 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM at North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Dr., Auburn. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Visiting hours will be Monday, October 11 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
