Michael Junior McCook, age 81, of Clinchfield GA, passed away on Thursday, October 07, 2010 at the Heart of GA Hospice in Perry GA. Mr. McCook, a native of Douglas GA was born March 03, 1929; he is the son of the late Elijah Junior and Nellie Pridgen McCook. He was a Veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII and Korean Conflict. Daughter, Mary Beth McCook preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Entombment in the City of Douglas Mausoleum. Survivors include: Wife, Virginia McCook, Perry GA, Son, Michael David (Dale) McCook, Douglas GA, Stepdaughters, Sherry Rucker and Sheila (Elay) Rucker, Fort Valley GA, Stepson, David Self, Perry GA, Sisters, Waunelle Harper, Wray GA, and Myrtle Stevens, Douglas GA, Several Nieces & Nephews.
