Augusta, GA---Mr. Eugene (Gene) Ronald Glowny died at home, on October 6, 2010.
He was the only son of Rose and Leon, who preceded him in death.
Gene leaves behind his beloved wife, Lea and many dear friends.
He retired from MCG, as Director of Social Work, ten years ago. Since his retirement, he has been a tireless fundraiser for two organizations that he felt strongly about, the Alzheimer’s Association and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Gene was a huge supporter of the Arts, an avid collector and arts volunteer.
He will be greatly missed, by all who knew and loved his unique dry wit and generous giving spirit.
