Jackie E. Grantham, 64, of Sevierville, Tennessee (Formerly of Fitzgerald) died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at The University Of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held 4:30 P.M., Saturday, October 9, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Holt officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Grantham was born September 22, 1946 in Ocilla to the late Jessie E. and Katherine Page Grantham. He moved to Tennessee one year ago from Fitzgerald where he lived most of his life. Mr. Grantham was a 1967 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended the Fitzgerald Church Of God. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Mr. Grantham was a former employee of the Georgia State Fire Marshall’s Office, a former fireman at Fort Gordon and a former police officer for the City of Fitzgerald.
Mr. Grantham is survived by his children: JohnDavid (Katrina Hulett) Grantham of Fitzgerald, Jonathan E. Grantham and Julie Grantham of Augusta; brothers: Billy Grantham of Sevierville, TN and Charles Grantham of Pensacola, FL.
